🌟 Welcome back to school, Shepherd ISD! 🌟 We’re excited to kick off the Spring 2025 semester with fresh opportunities for learning and growth. Let’s make this semester unforgettable! 📚✨ #ShepherdISD #BackToSchool

The district will be closed tomorrow, Friday, November 22nd!

Attention Parents, Family, Friends, and Community Members!
Do you know a student in Shepherd ISD who shows exceptional abilities and potential? Now is your chance to help them shine even brighter!
We are excited to announce that nominations for our Gifted and Talented Program for the 2023-24 academic year are officially open. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to explore their talents and expand their horizons. If you believe a child in our district exhibits outstanding intellectual capabilities or creative talents, we encourage you to nominate them for the screening process by reaching out to any campus counselor. Let's work together to identify and nurture the gifted minds in our community. Your nomination could be the key to unlocking a student's full potential!

Friday, November 15th, is a student holiday for all SISD students!

Just a reminder… Tomorrow is a regular school day for students.

Hey Pirates!
Please encourage your students to donate items. Here are the drop off spots for their donations...
6th grade- Wheeler's room
7th grade- Dodge's room
8th grade- Clark's room
The students may drop off any time before 3rd period as the teachers will be bringing them down for storage during that time.
There will be an incentive provided for the grade level that donates the most canned food by the 20th of Nov.
Thank you all for helping our local food pantry provide relief to our amazing families during this time and in the future. 💙

Fall has arrived just in time! 🍁
Ms. Higginbotham’s 7th grade ELAR classes created their own poems last week to welcome in the cooler weather.

The next round of ceiling tiles is going up in the art room at SMS! This week's assignment challenges students to experiment with contrasting warm and cool colors. Stay tuned as Room 301 continues to transform into a dynamic, lively space, filled with the incredible talent of these young artists!

The district will be closed tomorrow, Friday, November 1st!

Shepherd Intermediate would like to recognize and congratulate all of our students and their exceptional academic accomplishments.
Thank you for all of your hard work and deication!

SCHOOL HEALTH ADVISORY COUNCIL
Please join us on October 2nd at 12:30 for the SHAC meeting.

For the 2024-2025 school year, all individuals wishing to substitute for Shepherd ISD must attend an orientation session before accepting an assignment at a campus.
This does not apply to existing Early Learning Center substitutes; you are not required to attend BUT if you would like to be considered as a new Early Learning Center substitute you will need to attend an orientation first.
We will be hosting our third orientation session on September 11th, at 11:30 AM in the SISD Anchor Room. Please be sure to bring all required documentation, even if you have previously substituted with Shepherd ISD (driver license, SS card, diploma or transcript).
If you have not substituted in SISD before, you will also need to complete the following application prior to the meeting: https://shepherdisd.tedk12.com/hire/ViewJob.aspx?JobID=779
